zh → ழ, L → ள, N → ண, R → ற, n at the start is ந, n inside a word is ன (nn → ன்ன), nth/ndh → ந்த, nd → ண்ட. Use w for ந anywhere. t/d → ட, th/dh → த.
How do I type long vowels?
Double the vowel or use capitals: aa/A → ஆ, ii/I → ஈ, uu/U → ஊ, ee/E → ஏ, oo/O → ஓ, ai → ஐ, au → ஔ.
